Create object with no crosshair?

Is it possible to create an object like a ground mounted machine gun, or something on a vehical, like a permanent pair of binoculars stuck to a tripod or on the side or front of a helicopters, telescope or binoculars, but the problem i am having is that there is a crosshair, can someone tell me how to create one of these tripod or helicopter mounted devices without a crosshair? im not talking about the texture that goes over it, i mean the ingame crosshair that is seen everywhere, this crosshair dissapears when using regular binoculars.
