LightBringer 0 Posted June 17, 2003 Hey, is it possible to build a bridge over waterways? Because I tried to build one, but if tides are coming parts of the bridge are rising with the water too. Is it possible to dodge this? Thx. CU.
The Frenchman 0 Posted June 18, 2003 You can just download the editor upgrade and get the bridge from Nogova or there is a tutorial on OFP.info.
Tactician 0 Posted June 18, 2003 The area generally has to be designed with bridges in mind. Â That means the gap has to be the correct length for X amount of bridge sections, and the terrain underneath has to be pretty flat. Â Only 2 places on Nogova seem to meet these conditions and there are bridges at both of them. Â You could setPos the bridge sections up and down to beat differences in terrain level. See ofp.info tutorial.
LightBringer 0 Posted June 20, 2003 Yeah, you can put down bridges, but there is a huge problem. The brigdes are following the tides... So if water comes up, the bridges goes up to (and only those which are above water). This is my main problem. There should be some way to put these bridges in a way, when they not goes up and down with the water... CU.
