AXE 0 Posted June 3, 2003 I want to have a working altimeter in my instrument panel, but I have been having troubles. First of all the gauge uses feet instead of meters so it never matches the unit info, but that is ok. Secondly, I want the guage to spin around for each 1000 feet, so when the plane goes from 999 feet to 1001 feet I want the needle to keep moving, but instead it kinda jumps ahead and the reading is wrong. BTW this is the barometer altimeter not the radar altimeter. One last thing, in the binarize cfgvehicles file, it says that the max altitude for the radar altimeter is 200 feet, is there a way to change this to 1000 feet? DRa1N 0 Posted June 4, 2003 AFAIK... all altimiters work in feet.
Guest BratZ Posted June 4, 2003 The Altimiter is the only gauge in my Helldiver that I didn't check for accuracy. Only thing I can go by is the settings used for the A10 and the Cessna and hoping they are right.
