GoOB 0 Posted May 14, 2003 Ah what a beautiful day, the sun is shining and the birds are chirping. I start to boil up some water so i can eat some nice eggs in the sun shine. Whilst the eggs are boiling i decide to do a quick virus scan. I eat my eggs and go back to the computer.... i find that four files are infected with a worm, and wich worm you might ask. Bugbear it is, bugbear. So i check this document The bugbear phenomena Being a rather unadvanced user this tells me nothing. I dont see the files in the "autostart" dir nor do i find them in a search. The name of one of the files are: A0219255.CPY I'd be eternally grateful for any help i could recive. Dadster 0 Posted May 14, 2003 It seems to me that your anti-virus software should be able to get rid of it. If not, just download the sysclean file on the website you have there, read the instructions on running it, then run it. Everything you need to do is described on that website.
