how do i make a sp mission with the units firing paintball

Not possible unless you make an addon which does very little dammage to a unit.

Actually you CAN do it in SP.

That should do it, you can probably work out the rest, Use a script to set combat mode etc etc

It won't stop the player being killed though, it will look a little odd.

DOH!

Forgot to mention.

Make a script called;

"onplayerkilled.sqs"

and have your "resurrection" staged in that. If yopu need help with that just ask. You may need to switch cameras back if I recall.

You can also switch cameras to another unit as far as I am aware, so you could play your entire squad one by one.

Maybe someone should make an add on pack with paintball guns :-)) and maybe a few laserguns too with special suits that beeb when they are hit!

and for the paintball guns you might need new units too for the new textures, because the blood textures are activated by dammage and the paintballs won't do dammage but just leave paint stains!

and for the multiplayer paintball:

that ain't real paintball! it's actually just as explained.

ur shooting live ammo there (try shooting one of the cars along the side). the only reason u live is because of the resurection scripts as stated in previous posts.

Come to think of it, you can play the MP paintball AS a SP game.
