as far as i understand, picture trail accounts have to be upgraded and paid for after a month and village photos only allows to upload 25 images for free.

picturehost.co.uk doesn't give you an account but you can still upload pictures and they give you the url.

please correct me if i'm wrong.

I gave up on all the freebies and finally bought an account. Through sandwich.net I pay $7.00 a month for 20mb of filespace. This also includes 750mb of bandwith. I also went crazy and bought www.othin.com which costs me $9.00 a year through godaddy.com

[TU]$33ker, i dont think any free image hosting allow you to upload unlimited number of pics permanently .

If there are such a free host i will be happy to have the URL

For picture trail, you are wrong as i read in their rules, you dont have to buy a "premium" account after a month of trial in "intro" status

The intro status gives you the taste of premium (500 images hosted) , but if you dont want to buy premium grade , you gain the "free basics" status : only 36 pics hosted instead of 500

That is better than nothing (as the 25 images of village photo)

The problem is that if picture trail have server problems, they will delete some "free basics" account first.

Note that i dont try the free hosts yet , so i cant comment on linking URL to other sites and forum , but it seems you can if i understand what i read.
