Stary1229 0 Posted December 27, 2022 so i host a vlan server with friends because it’s the only that works for us but other than that we’ve tried antistasi/dynamic recon ops/prairie fire campaign as well as some vanilla missions and they all work solo perfectly fine but when i host a game and my friends join the role selection screen is completely blank however it lets me choose their role for them but when i start the game i’m the only one that’s gets pulled into the game i’ve been trying to fix this for weeks but there’s barley anything online to go by so here i am making a post if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. btw we have no mods enabled besides when we tried antistasi/dynamic recon ops but the same issue would happen no matter what. Gunter Severloh 4051 Posted December 27, 2022 Hello Stary1229, Welcome to BI forums! Do this grab the latest rpt which is a log file that the game creates everytime you start the game. The rpt will list any mods, your startup, parameters, specs, errors, and any conflicts going on with what your playing, ideally when something is not working then you want to go to the rpt if you have an idea on how to read it. Anyways locate the latest rpt here ----> C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Arma 3 rpt will look like a notepad document, open it with notepad, select everything in it, copy it all, then paste it here: https://justpaste.it/ publish it (red button at middle bottom), then copy the link at the top and paste it here in your reply, and i and anyone else will take a look and see whats going on if possible. Just be sure that when you start the game that in the arma 3 launcher parameters you want the [ ] no logs box unchecked which enables logs to be posted. Lets start there and see what we can find out.
