Tommy Atkins 0 Posted February 22, 2003 Hi there- been lurking in these forums for a while now, but not had cause to compl...sorry, ask for help. I'm *trying* to reinstall OFP:Resistance over a fresh install of OFP on a new second hard drive. I successfully installed OFP followed by the OFP:Gold upgrade. When I start to run the Resistance upgrade, I'm prompted as per usual for my CD-Key, which I happily type in only to be told that it's the wrong CD-Key. Odd, seeing as how it's the same CD-Key I used to install the game and the gold upgrade that. (Before I'm pointed there, I'm using all the upgrade steps as recommended by the delightful Avon Lady- uninstall all from add/remove programs, delete, restart, reinstall, test, restart etc.) One thing- at some point or other I installed the resistance demo, which is now no longer on my machine (just wanted to check the maps- nice demo;) ). Could that have something to do with my troubles? If so, how do I fix it? I'm running Win2k sp3, and this is the ONLY time that I have ever had any trub with OFP. Thanks in advance for any help. [edit: In case I didn't make it clear- yes, these ARE legal copies of all 3 CDs.]
Tovarish 0 Posted February 22, 2003 You do realize that Resistance has it's own separate CD key printed on the resistance manual right? *edit* No...reading your post again it's apparent that you thought it was the same CD key as the original FLashpoint, look for a CD key in your Resistance manual, that's your problem.
