Normalregularguy 3 Posted August 2, 2022 Jumpshot gonna ruin all tactical mechanics in Vigor. It'll become from tactical shooter to jumping arcade. Don't believe- watch freakja videos, not so skilfull streamers already think that it is overpowered. Jumpshot killed warz (infestation survivor stories) don't make the same mistakes. I ve played destiny for 6 years even they decrease inairaccuracy. Jumshot ruin all surviving environment of the game. And as for newbies what do you think a new player will experience when he will engage a player who jumps all the time and hits his target. Rapacious 2 Posted August 16, 2022 Agreed. I would modify Jumping as a whole. Here are my suggestions: 1) Jumping needs to use up a lot of stamina. For example, 30% of max stamina. This could increase as Outlander weight is increased by gathering new weapons and loot. 2) Jumping and Shooting should be disabled for heavy weapons, anything with a heavy weight icon next to it. For example, There is no way that someone carrying an M249 should be able to jump and shoot. This weapon loadout weighs approximately 18 LBS fully loaded. The nice thing about Vigor was that it was not a call of duty clone. Try to keep the game to a gritty realistic combat system. You will never see a real life soldier running and jumping as they shoot their weapon. Please continue to try new things and listening to player feedback. I get you guys have a bottom line and drawing in new player bases is good for business, but please draw the line somewhere. I can deal with the famas F1 (bugle) being OP, as well as armor plates and portables. However, when used in combination with jumpshots which inexplicably never fail to yield a headshot, it ruins the experience for those of us that originally migrated to this game to get away from such nonsense in the mainstream shooter genre. What made this game great was that in order to excel, you had to use your head; play smart. Now a**h***s just run around with all the latest "cheap-tech" (bugle, portables, armor, radiation grenades) and dominate founding players who would otherwise win the bout with the tactics that once made this game a gem. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Brian Turner 8 Posted July 31 I completely disagree! Without jumping head shot, experienced players stand absolutely no change at all against new players. Right now, the meta is players with sub 100 kills are getting head shots any time they shoot anywhere near an opponent, even after they are dead, even with crap white weapons at long distance. Additionally, the sub 100ks are eating hits from guns that would kill a 15k kill player. Saw a raincoat with zero kills eat 4 point blank Remy shots -- no armor, no problem. Then they proceeded to ace two players who both had 2500 kill badges showing. Pop, pop. 2 shots. Raincoat has an ES. The other players bugles.
