how to play with mods

I'm very sorry to be asking this, but how do i use the mods I've downloaded on my Xbox. are there servers that allow mods so we can use these mods in public servers. or only 

through game master. I'm new to Arma, sorry i really like to see Arma take off on console. I would like to play with modern weapons and gear with attachments and guns. please help

As for xbox specific I don't know exactly but this is how the PC's work...

 

For the dedicated servers, the server owners need to add the mods to the server config so when the player joins the server it will download the mods, and keep them updated.
