RED 0 Posted February 21, 2003 There are many topics about this, search the forum! The tool I use to convert my files is DBpoweramp: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm You will also need the ogg codec: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-ogg.htm RED
PiNs_Da_Smoka 0 Posted February 21, 2003 You don't HAVE to use .ogg's. I'm not sure about .mp3's, haven't tried, but you can use .wav's if you desired. Just thought i'd mention that because some people find it hard (for some reason) to ind something to convert to .ogg
Shark111 0 Posted February 21, 2003 Did I understand? .wav working in OFP? Really?
RED 0 Posted February 21, 2003 Yes, I would not suggest you use it though. The file sizes are generaly larger than .ogg. RED
Nic 0 Posted February 21, 2003 The DBPowerAmp works just fine...but I suggest getting Wavesurfer http://www.speech.kth.se/wavesurfer/download.html The only reason I suggest it...because PowerAmp is one of those prog's that likes to take over your comp...changing icons, showing in sys tray, adding tons of shortcuts, etc....I know you can change all that back but its just kinda annoying. In my opinion Wavesurfer is much easier to work with...but thats just me.

Both programs are fine, just try them with the links RED gave you.
