Guest BratZ Posted February 19, 2003 Get this, I was jonezing ,coming along nice on my F4U Corsair,I couldn't wait to drive it.So I made up memory lod and such and compile the model to try it out in-game. Well I had some errors but I fire up O2 and to my surprise my .p3d was 32kb in size and couldn't open!!!!!! I suspect makepbo may be corrupting them (could be something with my puter) Well have no fear ,I totally rebuilt the F4U and I am back where I was (BraTTy gets a medal for patience) Matter of fact its lower poly and sleeker But now I save the entire directory before I compile, unfortuanatly I had to learn the hard way. But save your work often!!! I lost everything but my textures
theavonlady 2 Posted February 19, 2003 Try PBOTool instead.
Guest BratZ Posted February 19, 2003 Thanx..that should have been my question...which compiler is recommended. Makes me wonder if it had anything to do with my O2 quitting working earlier also
colonel_klink 0 Posted February 20, 2003 Try Stellar addon compiler. It has less mouse clicks and does the same job as PBOtool and remembers your last addon and the OFP addon folder location. Find it here:Stellar. Visit Stellar Information. If you need VB6 runtimes get them here: VB6 Runtimes
