Ditch 472 Posted April 3, 2022 Mission Statement ASQN, 2 troop is an Arma 3 Realism unit, we seek to simulate United Kingdom Special Forces operations accurately with an emphasis on quality over quantity for our unit members. Unit Features 1st Person Only Realistic operations and mission sets with a focus on immersion and Challenge Advanced Medical Gameplay utilizing the KAT Medical mod Like minded Group of players ]JSOC Est. 2018 International Partner: Joint operations and trainings with like minded units in the Arma community 22SAS, A Squadron 2 Troop The Special Air Service (SAS) is the British army’s premier and famous Special Forces unit. Tasked Primarily with Counterterrorism operations, the unit is dynamic and has deployed in every war since its founding, performing a range of Special operation tasking. A Squadron two troop (Air) are masters of airborne and freefall insertion HALO (high altitude low opening) & HAHO (High altitude high opening). 22 SAS is tasked with: Counter-Terrorism Hostage Rescue Surveillance and Reconnaissance Support and Influence Offensive Actions Forward Air control VIP Close Protection SELECTION AND TRAINING After a successful application potential candidates to the unit will attend a short interview with a unit recruiter. If your interview goes well, you will be given mod access through our mod repository then assigned to a patrol under a three week Probation period, you will be evaluated on your attitude and personality to determine if suitable for the unit. During your probation you will Schedule and complete the Troop induction session covering signals, medical and CQB standard operating procedures. Upon completion of your probation and induction you will be badged as a Trooper, able to pursue further training such as patrol skill qualifications, Special Forces Parachutist and the Counter-Terrorism course.Unit Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. You must be able to attend weekly operations on Sundays @ 1800 GMT/BST Must be fluent in speaking, writing, and understanding English. You must posses a valid copy of Arma 3, the Apex DLC and Contact DLC Must have a working microphone and be able to log into our TeamSpeak server.
