Custom artillery ammo

Anybody knows how to use custom ammo in arty units? Im trying to make this buratino mod work with the arty module but I only managed to register the unit as arty and add artillery computer but doesnt work, only works well with vanilla ammo.

yes I know, but his custom ammo doesn't work as artillery, just direct fire, maybe only bis ammo is coded to work as artillery?

Edit: I managed to shoot with the artillery computer, but now the ammo doesn't splash
