Maci79 0 Posted November 17, 2021 Hello to all I have a fiber optic connection open (which does not block the ports). The operating system I use is Windows 10. I have disabled Windows Firewall. I have opened all the ports in the router, also tried to enable the DMZ. I have disabled the router's ping protection. Despite these things my server is not seen on the internet. I forgot something? Can someone help me?

Tankbuster 1746 Posted November 18, 2021 You've covered both the main reasons. When users report this, it's almost always a port forwarding issue. After that, a firewall is usually the cause. Sometimes the ISP will be blocking the traffic but this is quite rare these days. Make sure your server us on a static ip on your lan. Make sure other machines on the lan can connect to the server. Some routers need rebooting after changes to their forwarding rules.

In my case the problem is the ping blocking enabled in the router firewall. I had already opened the doors
