Version mismatch error after update today

After updating as required by the launcher, the servers now have red X's beside them and when I attempt to enter the server, it freezes and I get a "Version Mismatch" warning.

Do have to wait 2 and half hours to server reset for the client and server versions to catch up?

Yes. If the server(s) you're trying to connect to haven't been updated by their relevant hosts then you can't connect to them...Whilst I can't vouch for it being 2 and a half hours, it'll take some time...
