ISlowLearner 0 Posted March 1, 2021 Hello! I've owned this game for less than 48 hours, so please forgive me for a level of noob unknown before now. I started with the tutorial well aware that I'd have a steep learning curve to overcome, however, I'm barely into the campaign and struggling. I'm trying to navigate to the survivors base in 'situation normal' and, after 10-12 attempts, can't make it. It doesn't help that I have no scope or ability to call for support (they truly are 'survivors' and not much else.) I've tried using cover, going prone or to a kneeling position - just running from cover to cover and not engaging - it doesn't matter, I'd dead. Is the campaign just not worth messing with? Should I go and jump into multiplayer and just learn the hard way there?
stanhope 412 Posted March 1, 2021 Spoilers ahead: Spoiler When adams walks into the minefield you can follow in his footsteps to pick up his rifle which, if memory serves, has an RCO on it. From there I suggest moving through the woods, avoiding the road. There is a patrol in the woods but if you take it slow they can also be avoided. Or you can engage them. But if you do that, let them come to you. Additionally, I don't know which difficulty you play on but you could try to lower it.
