Guest BratZ Posted January 25, 2003 I would like to update this. The first method probably works fine if you are using Photoshop, but unfortunately I was using Paintshop Pro,I found this method works well and I will give the author credit and I want to add to it: Quote From Forums: Jaceksfor .. Group: Members Posts: 3 Joined: Jan. 2003  Posted: Jan. 22 2003,19:29   -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if you want make transparent texture you must have paintshop7.0 and you make logo normaly when you finish paiting select all places what you want to be transparency an from menu seletions chose invert and from the same menu chose save to alpha channel save and it is all Now save file as 24 bit uncompresed tga .convert it with texwiev to paa an its all  _ This method works for Paintshop Pro and I want to add an easy way to select all other areas. Paint all that you want transparant a color like gray or that differs from your texture completely. That way its real easy to select the area that you want transparant using the "Magic Wand" And continue on with the method stated above And I want to mention that I have had no problems just loading the tga in O2 without converting it with Texview first Thats All,cheers
DanAK47 1 Posted June 1, 2003 I tried the method above with PSP7. Texview would open the file, display the alpha, and save it to .paa without problems. The .paa file opened fine. But when I tried to view the model it was applied to with Oxygen's external viewer it crashed. OFP also crashed when I tried to view the model.
DanAK47 1 Posted June 1, 2003 Nevermind, I fixed it. Turned out the dimensions of the image were what did it. Strange that Texview would open it though.
