alpha grass problem with glass object

Hi, 

i used Arma2 material, CA glass texture and i have problem - when object is placed in map with grass - object becomes white

 

all is okay in Virtual Reality map, all is okay on desert , but when object goes to grass - white instead of transparent 

 

 

what should be RVMAT for object made of glass ?

 

i n Arma2 i was using default RVMAT, here it becomes white, simply white 

 

I have added  renderFlags[] = {"NoZWrite"};

and object is totally transparent - it should be half transparent (not clear washed glass, but like muddy glass)

I want to make object that is half-transparent , not fully (not clear glass) but glass like fog, mist etc. 

 

i see that in Arma3 windows in cars are very transparent , almost like there was no glass , totally clear like new from factory and washed 

 

object in Buldozer is half-transparent, object on map is totally transparent on grass, on road or desert it is the way i want and it works okay on desert or on road, but not in forest

 

the most stupid it looks when it is on the border between grass or building and solid ground - half or object visible, half transparent totally (so it also issues problem on objects such as houses)

 

  renderFlags[] = {"NoZWrite"}; helps to get object fully transparent

but doesn't help to get milky glass or dark glass

Hey villas, did you try to sort faces in Object Builder?
In the faces drop down menu, there are the options to  'sort' & 'sort alpha' and also there are options to move selected faces up or down to organize the alpha faces to remove the kind of issue it sounds like you have.

i know such basic things - i made it working for Arma2  5 years ago, now i want to import it, 

 

problem is with grass - object becomes white on it 

 

try to make glass-like half-transparent object and start moving it on different place of map , make predator unit (predator - half transparent alien) and run predator on map 

 

it is "the predator" or "the ghost" - must be half transparent human-like alien unit
