Question on saving multiplayer missions

Recommended Posts

A question for you more experienced MP types. When I play MP, new missions that I don't already have download automatically. How come when I try to find these missions later (starting my own MP game), I can't find them? It almosts seems like the mission disappears once I disconnect from the server.

There is one mission in particular (don't recall the name) where you start out as POWs, then are set free by a guy who cuts the wire around your prison. You then have to fight your way off the island and take a transport across to the mainland where you encounter more enemies. Eventually you run into to people who were being held hostage - one is legit, the other is really an enemy spy - you have to choose which one to kill. Does this mission sound familiar? Anyone know its name and where I can DL it? Much thanks for any assistance on this!

They are stored in the MPMISSIONSCACHE directory. Move them from there to your MPMISSIONS folder, where you can use them when hosting yourself.

The mission you are refering to is called P.O.W by Lolsav - get it from the Vetserver website (http://vetserver.jerbrack.com) or pm me your email address, so I can mail it to you.

You guys are awesome! I checked and sure enough, all the missing missions were there including POW.

I thought I was hallucinating because earlier versions of OFP saved the missions directly to the MP folder. After reading the FAQ it all becomes so clear now! biggrin.gif

Thanks again guys!

S!
