Drawing from a legacy dating back to 2012, members of Arma Air Assault and a later group Response Force Alpha, have reunited for 1st Air Assault. Bringing experience, maturity and a passion for balancing serious military operations with fun, weekly missions, 1st Air Assault works hard to maintain a quality destination for Arma 3 players. No ranks, no attitude, just fun missions! Ground forces work with a squad of talented pilots using the latest technologies, extensive training and a fleet of attack and transportation rotary-wing aircraft to conduct missions which blend air assault with that of Direct Action. Rich_R 1087 Posted November 27, 2019 ****UNIT UPDATE**** It has been three weeks since officially opening the group and we continue to grow, fortunate enough to add quality (and pretty cool) players to the brotherhood that is 1st Air Assault. Two pilots and enough ground personnel to complete some fun and involved story-based missions, the group looks to continue its growth. We understand some players want 'instant mega-group' when considering which unit to join. To this, we would put forward the following thoughts; What's more enjoyable, joining a group set in its way and treating each new week's session as a routine? Or being there as a group grows, helping create the unique experiences that comes with a new group and the incredible memories from said experiences? Its not necessarily about size, but quality. Rich_R 1087 Posted January 28, 2020 Things are moving along nicely at 1st Air Assault; First class have graduated with honors from the group's Fundamental Skills Training We're having discussions around opening the second squad At the time of writing, 1st Air Assault is midway through our first deployment (campaign). We should be deployed for a total of 8 weeks. We're looking for the right players to join, we consider this as; Good attitude New player (Just bought game) awesome, we've all been there and are more than happy to walk you through everything Experienced player Serving or veterans. While we don't use ranks and no one calls anyone 'Sir' we follow enough practices to make you smile, but not enough to feel like you're at work or back in uniform What we offer Training (we make fun, promise!)
