BlackDeath-CFH 1 Posted January 12, 2003 1. me and my group are rideing in a vehicle, well it transports us to the helicopter that is waiting to pick us up. no the problem is that its flying. i want it to have its engine going but not flying, so once were all in.. it takes off fast. how do i do this? 2. when the chopper is flying i want it to eject us so that we can parachute out instead of just landing and letting us out. if anyone can awnser both these questions id really appriciate it. ralphwiggum 6 Posted January 12, 2003 maybe 'flyinheight' command will help you with first question. for second question, search here for 'parachute' script.

They should work. Try calling the command from one of the waypoints on-activation fields.

In all cases, you have to name the chopper, don't use this.
daram 0 Posted January 13, 2003 I did it in a very simple way. Before knowing anything about scripting, i managed this way. if your helo is set up as a unit, give it the waypoint "wait" and then take your soldiers into it. when you arrive the chopper is ready. then use a radio command event to take you and the troopers to whatever you want, and if you want to parachute before, just order your squad to be in a point in land. Everyone will bail out. Easy... isn´t it?
