Osa_poklop_driver opens hatch in wrong plane

Recommended Posts

Atm all my hatches work fine apart from one

The commanders and gunners  hatch (poklop_commander and poklop_gunner) both open fine with the hatch cover behind them.

I use osa_poklop_commander (2 vertices), osa_poklop_gunner (another 2 verticies) and they both open so that the inside of the hatch points directly at the fron tof the tank.

The drivers hatch on a Panther G opens directly away from the side of the tank and I can't replicate this.

I have osa_poklop_driver set as 2 verticies along the length of the model and the hatch is defined as poklop_driver but the thing opens the same way as the other 2 hatches apart from the fact that it describes a huge arc and ends up floating in the air somewhere.

Can hatches work in this direction and is there something silly I have missed?

The hatch is not on the turret (otocVez), perhaps thats got something to do with it. I have changed the orientation of osa_poklop_driver and the result is still the same.

Also, otocVelitele (sp?) works great when the commander is turned out but the gunners hatch, on the turret fails to follow the rest of the turret when moving with the view outside the tank (Enter on num pad). It works when viewed by the commander but not when viewed by driver or gunner.

Is it something to do with otocHalavneVelitele, I've copied its location from the T72 demo but its appears to have little effect. Im not sure exactly what this is.

Thanks

Can I just say in my own defence that I had worked on this for a while before posting this. I was actually at the end of my tether after going through every selection and checking for location and spelling.

The solution was a couple of extra vertexes included in the selections of poklop_gunner and poklop_driver. How I failed to see this after working for 12 hours straight on the model points me to the fact that I should sleep more.
