Wick_105 0 Posted January 3, 2003 ya, if you think I'm stupid thats ok. I'm looking for artillery addons and stuff to make shells fall from the sky. AND HOW THEY WORK. I dont care if the howitzer is just an object that doesnt move or if it works. by the way, 105mm howitzer ammunition is semmi-fixed and has 3 components projectil, charge bags (1-7), and cassing sorry for the typing, still enjoying new years [on the battlefield there are two types of people, gunners and targets]

Matthijs 40 Posted January 3, 2003 Here's my little commented script. It uses M60 tanks as artillery. Here is how it works: - Place a marker on the map - Call in "fire for effect" using the radio - Adjust inclination - Call "Firemission" using the radio Note that the cycle for loading and firing the artillery may take up to 60 seconds in all. Nice: When under the flight path, you may be able to hear and sometimes even see the shells passing overhead. Not so nice: - This script is single player only. - You can't use it at ranges further than 3500m, because OFP lets shells disappear in mid-air if it goes any further. Download "Firemission"
mr. Duck 0 Posted January 3, 2003 What snippet did you download? Try to find for a readme. There has to be a parameter somewhere that should adjust the spread of the thing.
