major_winters 0 Posted December 24, 2002 Hi all, Im making a WW2 (Band of Brothers Stylie) mission using US airborne soldiers and C47 aircraft that I downloaded. Â I have no problem whatsoever gettin the guys to jump out and stuff but i cant stop the plane from slowing down and falling gracefully to the ground. Â It doesnt matter how close it is to the trigger, the engines seem to go full belt for about 5 seconds then they rev down and the plane decends. Â Ive thought ahead to possible solutions u may have and have done the usual things like, set the planes behaviour to careless (coz i thought it may have been doing it to evade the AA fire) but still no luck. Â I see that a few thousand of you have downloaded it, i thought there might be some1 out there experiencing the same problem, and have come up with a solution! Cheers (Sorry 4 essay ;-) ) Matt
Harnu 0 Posted December 24, 2002 lol, did you put an empty on in? That's what it sounds like. Or did you just forget to fuel it
major_winters 0 Posted December 24, 2002 Nah its a west 1, theres a ww2 pilot inside it; about the fuel thing, it has max fuel on the slider, when i fly the plane i have no problem flying it in a straight level line. Its the Plane's AI i think
Ruskiesrule 0 Posted December 24, 2002 i have no idea how good you are at this, but are the men in the same squad? The pilot should be in his own squad, and the airborne infantry should be another! Theirs a kick ass script for this at opflashpoint.org in their forum! Its a sticky, just look there!
major_winters 0 Posted December 24, 2002 Yeh, the pilot is in his own squad. All the troopers are individuals, i wanted to get the effect of the scattered 'sticks' like what actually happened, ive got it sorted now, dont know how i did it, i can get all 12 of my men out fine, all going out 1 after another!
