Reaver613 0 Posted May 7, 2018 I open the launcher, press play. I go through the splash screens, and get to the main menu. What happens there varies slightly each time. Usually, it works normally for about a second or two, before freezing- often by the time my cursor is over one of the options. At that time, it simply stays frozen- not even crashing and providing me with a crash log/error report of some kind. I'm then forced to open the task manager and close Arma 3. Other times, I'm able to maybe actually get to one of the options. I was able to get to the showcase section and play the 'Infantry' showcase to completion, with average performance. I've not been able to do that again since. After finishing that mission, I tried another of the showcases to see if it would stay working. It froze, and I had to open the task manager again. Is the game on a HD Harddrive or an SSD? Can you post your rpt, rpt can be found----> C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local\Arma 3 after you locate the rpt, select all, copy n paste and post it here ----> https://justpaste.it/ publish it, and provide the link other option is to post into a spoiler in your reply. ============ When you start the launcher go to the parameters tab and check the box skip logos at startup that will get you to the main menu of the game faster.
