Strange soundproblem with  heli

Hi

Got a small problem with a chopper. Its got two files, one with outside noise (flop-flop) and one inside. The initial problem was that the inside noise worked good from a pilot view (although bad to hear flopflopnoise). but from the outside teh flopflop was almost unhearable (hearing mostly the sound meant for the inside, aka soldiers on hte ground would think of a crazy landmover and not a helicopter when hearing it).

All efforts trying to tuning up and down the db-setting failed. So we tried merging the two files with each other so that the inside-engine noise had flopflop in background and the outside flopflop had a litte bit of insideengine noise in it.

This works nice now.

BUT

The outside engine noise dont work when the heli sits on the ground just before takeoff/after landin, AND it shuts off (almost) the the heli stops for a hover. It only works good when moving. Which, is pretty stupid.

Anyone know how to get the outside noise to work properly?

Ok, short story:

The heli goes near silent when airspeed goes to zero. No flopflop. It just fades away and comes back again when moving. Completely strange.

Well It may be this part:

"middle marker" sound )

insideSoundCoef = 0.05; // Not sure what this is...

outsideSoundCoef = 0.08;

I've never seen this on another mod and it isn't

used for the original helicopters. Try erasing it

and see what happens
