Yeah, I guess I am since I only post stuff when I think there is a discussion to be had about it. That makes me a kind of troll I guess. As for what my threads evolve into, they usually evolve into discussions. Isnt that what this entire forum is for, discussions? Yes, I usually post about stuff that might trigger some people. The reason is not to create flamewars though, it is to raise awareness. Because the fact is, the Danes refused to hand over the suspected terrorist just like the Tailban refused to hand over Osama. This gives the Russians enough reason to launch an attack and go in and get him, because it has allready been established that it is Ok to do so. Right? Today on the Dutch news there was an item about Al Quaida using the Netherlands for recruting members for the jihad, and being rather succesfull too. Especially Eindhoven (the city where I'm at the university) seems populair. Now that we are harbouring many potential terrorist, can we get invaded too, please? Further more, I am not sure about their policy on this, but I wouldnt count on them handing people over to nations that have the death penalty, as they themselves are opposed to it. "2) Would Denmark have permitted and sponsored Chechen terrorist camps?" According to the russians Danish companies are fronts for Chechen rebels. There have also been talk of Chechen rebels meeting and training in Denmark. Since it isnt against the law to meet and train, what can Denmark do? But yeah, that is actually a most excellent example of the dilemma. The fighters, called snapphanar, were very much so thought to be terrorists by the Swedes.
