Ok folks, the first official weapon pack of our USCM Mod is released! It contains the traditional M41a with improved textures, a resistance pulse rifle, a pistol, a shotgun and a sniper rifle.

great work but i got 2 questions.are you going to add marines. also when do you think the dropship will be for download.

I like the the guns(nice job) but the sound on the pistol just kills the idea of wanting to fire it.

The rifles are great though.

What do you plan to do next for this mod?

Well, for the pistol sound ...I extracted it from the example movie on this page. Should be pretty accurate. But if somebody owns a VP70 and recorded it's sound: feel free to mail me...

Next will be USCMarines, but that's very difficult and will take it's time. Release: not this year. More informations soon on my page.

Some of the units from the HK packs would make good colonial marines with a reskinning.

How about an L56 smartgun. I'm sure with a machine gun animation you could get it looking pretty close, even if it doesn't have the servo mount.
