Benson1990 0 Posted October 21, 2017 Hey there guys, got a bit of an issue with some custom map development I hope you guys can help with. For the past few weeks we've been developing a custom, scratch built map for use in an RP server. However, after converting the current version to a mod pack using Addon Builder we found that a lot of objects are missing. Now we built the map using Terrain Builder, placed objects with XCAM, imported into Terrain Builder and imported all the relevant libraries (even purchased Mikero's Tanoa assets). There are several mods used including E73 Roads, CUP Terrains and Australian Buildings. Things went, for the most part, according to plan untill it came to checking out the built map in the editor. A LOT of objects simply weren't there, from what we could gather they were just anything from Tanoa or any mods. Now, we believe this would be due to the map's config.cpp not having the mod pbos listed in the "Required Addons" section? Would this be correct? And if so, do we simply list all the pbos in there (e.g "E73_Roads, Aus_Bank" etc)? Thank you for any help you can provide, it will be greatly appreciated. RoF 241 Posted October 26, 2017 Addon Builder doesn't make working maps! You have already paid for mikero's tools, so use pboproject. It's what 99% of modders are using. Also make sure you extract the mods correct, you can't just put them anywhere. Again use mikeros tools, in this case extractpbo, open command prompt and type extractpbo "Path\To\Mod" P:\ I'm guessing you have done quite alot wrong, if you been using addon builder, so get ready for loads of errors with your configs etc
