FSPilot 0 Posted November 25, 2002 Ok, well, I searched for a tutorial about the tutorial about mission briefings and didn't find anything. I created a mission, put it in a seperate folder as it's filename (uh-oh.noe for the folder, uh-oh.noe.pbo for the file), and included a briefing.html in the folder. The briefing is basically copy/pasted off of the tutorial at flashpoint1985.com. For some reason, it doesn't show up. Any help?
edc 0 Posted November 25, 2002 De-pbo the uh-oh.noe.pbo and make sure briefing.html is in there.
Balschoiw 0 Posted November 25, 2002 the briefing needs to be in the misson folder BEFORE the mission is saved as Single or Muliplayer map. All files that are in the misson folder will be in the final misson.pbo
FSPilot 0 Posted November 25, 2002 So I create a mission folder, THEN a mission with the same filename? Sorry it took me so long to reply, we watched a movie.
Bart.Jan 0 Posted November 25, 2002 When you are editing mission, there is folder with your mission files. Flashpoint\users\userName\missions\missionFolder Put your briefiefing.html and overview.html there, then (from Editor) save it as single or multiplayer mission or use some external PBO creator. FSPilot 0 Posted November 25, 2002 Still not working There's a uh-oh.noe.pbo in my user missions folder, i put the briefing.html in there, then i load it in the mission editor and export it to SP missions. when I try to load it it takes me back to the main menu of OFP. edc 0 Posted November 25, 2002 Try deleting the uh-oh pbo in your ofp/missions folder and gointo ofp and export it again.

Nagual 0 Posted November 25, 2002 If your just checking its working there no need to export it, just hold down left shift key when you click on preview, if your briefing is working you will see it then.

Not compiled pbo file. Mission files are : mission.sqm; description.ext; briefing.html; overview.html; *.sqs If your mission name is uh-oh then mission folder name is Flashpoint\users\userName\missions\uh-oh.noe After exporting mission as singleplayer there will be uh-oh.pbo file in Flashpoint\missions folder. PowerHour 0 Posted December 9, 2002 Check out a post I put up today. This little (under one meg) program will save you some major grief. You have to play with it a bit and still understand what you need in your mission folder but after that it's a cake walk. I was able to complete a briefing ,overview, link my markers, it helped me throw in custom music and sounds very easily plus it does way more but I'm not that advanced yet. Finally I was able to finish a couple of my missions off. Completey:) Try it. Works like a hot dam. read my post here <a href="http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard301/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=7;t=24784" target="_blank"> <a href="http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=24784</a>" or just check out Chis Hendersons Script editor here: http://www.chenderman.com/CHOFPSE.htm Its a happy happy day.
