DieselJC 196 Posted June 3, 2017 So I was doing some general clean up today and virus scans etc on the desktop and was curious what do you all run for a pagefile size and does that affect the frames in Arma? I currently have 16GB of 1866 Ram and a page file size of 24511 I dont have an SSD just a standard HDD And I run an AMD FX 6300 4.3GHz Just curious what you all think..I get alot of conflicting stuff from the web and Arma is the only game I run. maquez 141 Posted June 5, 2017 do not mess arround with pagefile, leave that on system managed size and make sure automatically manage paging file size for all drives is set! pagefile can get fragmented after long time of use to defrag pagefile simply disable pagefile then reboot, this will delete the pagefile finally re-enable system managed size and automatically manage paging file size and reboot again. St. Jimmy 272 Posted June 5, 2017 The game will crash in minutes on 64-bit if you disable page file.
