Missing labels in the "Customize controller" menu

Can anyone tell me what's going on here and how to fix it? I've had this issue for the past several updates. Tried resetting my controls to various profiles, clearing my .\Documents\Arma 3 folder, verifying my local game files, reinstalling the drivers for my gamepad, doing a clean GPU driver installation with DDU, and probably a few other steps I can't remember.
