2nd mg on the uh60mg..possible

Gents..I7ve read through almost the entire 17 pages on this forum....and I remember saying that it is not possible to add an extra gun to the UH60. Is this correct?

Hey Ts, you cannot fire from 2 places on a vehical.

OK...but could the gunner switch positions then? So he would only be firing from one part of the vehicle at a time.

hmm maybe it can be done id you go have a look in the ch47 config there is something about switching pos

oh wait here: class CfgMovesMC

dunno what that is for but maybe it can be done with that

Hmm....you know.....you can at least make it appear that both of the guns are firing. If you add muzzle flashes to both of the guns, and group them both under "zasleh", i believe they should go off at the same time. Although, you may have to define something in the .cpp about that. Not really sure, ask Capt. Moore about that.

Hmm...maybe i'm just speaking out of my ass, but lets see if this is doable. Ok, take the FFAR launchers on vehicles, now why can't we make bullets come out of there? I mean, i know htat bullets are usually defined with usti/konec hlavne on vehicles. But, would it be possible to use the same memory points as the launchers and define it in the .cpp to make them use bullets? Then just speed up the firerate and reloadtime. Then you have some bad ass chainguns firing like a mofo. Like i said, i'm probably just talking out of my ass biggrin.gif

Dude...found some nice textures....and I've been playing with it......I'm not sure I'll be able to give a readily packaged item....still getting my head around O"...but I'll definitely be able to provide you with some final textures to wrap it in.....thankfully....texturing items like the DE aint to tough. Not many required.

Sweeeeet. If you just wanna make the textures, thats fine, i'm sure i can apply them nicely. Thanks alot brohem.

And about what i stated above. I have been told that that should be very doable. So, basically its finding out what defines the FFAR launchers, and changing what it fires in the .cpp, uping the fire rate, and voila, instant bang bang. biggrin.gif

Excellent....I had thought about that before so I'm glad to see it's possible....the true DAP which the TJP model is based off can actually do this.
