scousejedi 0 Posted September 14, 2002 I bring up a background image using A, select faces with the mouse and press B Then I look with viewer and great they appeared. Then I go to add the sides of my skip (yes OFP needs a skip) and use the same proceedure, however... Only the sides of the skip are visible in Buldozer, the original front and back textures have gone. Question 1 How do I throw multiple gifs on so that they will stick and not be replaced? Question 2 How are the U and V values in faces properties used effectively? I have read every post in the Oxygen forum so Im sorry if this has come up before. Thanks. scousejedi 0 Posted September 14, 2002 Thanks... Zadwar 1. Doh !!! :-) 2. UV - in 3DSM I get a little window with my unwrapped mesh overlaying my texture, assuming O2 uses co ordinates only is 0 - 1 the range of the dimension (ie 0,0 is bottom left 1,1 is top right?) Also the five numbers in the face properties I am assuming they are Face Number, Vert 1 , vert 2, vert 3 , vert 4 The UV numbers are the coordinates of each vertex upon the texture Why is the bottom one seperated? Im determined to get my head around this, after my skip I plan a rusty old barrel with holes in it for a fire. Perhaps then Ill move to something with moveable parts.... Thanks... (selected are shown..... sheeesh :-)
zwadar 0 Posted September 14, 2002 zwadar no "Zadwar" :-) about 5 numbers. I don't knopw, I think it's really needless for modeling, so I don't want know more about it. :-)
