Mission
We strive to bring the most realistic military experience possible across many different games and simulators.

 

General Information
North American Tactical Operations was established in October of 2016. During the beginning phases the president looked to create a experience like no other. These experiences would not only be for our members but also for our allies and guests. They should expect a very realistic but enjoyable military gaming experience. We don't want to discourage members, guest and our allies from wanting to be part of our community.

 

Structure
Our ARMA 3 community consist of three tiers which are listed below.

 

Tier 1 - Entry Level

Tier 2 - Enlisted

Tier 3 - Officers

 

This three tier structure is used to help our element leaders distinguish what phase the current member is at. Tier 1 indicates that a person is a new recruit that is either awaiting basic training or currently in basic training. Tier 2 indicates that the new recruit has become a official member of the North American Tactical Operations community and has been assigned to a element. Tier 3 which is the highest tier in the North American Tactical Operations community indicates that a member not only is part of a element but also has leadership roles.

 

Official Servers
Currently the North American Tactical Operations only has a dedicated Teamspeak 3 server. While dedicated game servers are on the radar it is not finacially possible right now since our team has just been established. This means that most of our games will be hosted by people with a reliable connection.

 

Addons
Our community will only be using Arma 3 Steamworks to manage and install our addons. This way every member joining our server will have the correct addon that is both updated and working correctly. We strive to only choose addons that are safe and realistic. Members joining our community should not expect to download 100+ addons from Steamworks. We look to keep the addons to a low number.
