HeroesandvillainsOS 1504 Posted June 10, 2016 I'm not sure if this is an Arma issue or not (it's the only game I have installed). Basically, when I start my computer, I open Steam. I launch the launcher. I play for a bit. Close the game and every single time, on the desktop, my mouse icon has the blue circle load wheel every 5 seconds or so. When I open up task manager, I see "anti malware service" is usually tops in the list, but my disc usage and cpu usage is always very low. I do run Corsair Link and EVGA Precision X while playing but even when I turn them off, this still happens. It's odd. This is my rig which runs an up to date Windows 10 Home: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/sBT2t6 Which is worth about $200 less now than it was 2 months ago when I bought it lol. I've had this issue since day one but it's kind of annoying so I figured I'd ask the community. Is it Windows Defender maybe? If so should I turn it off? And why does it happen only when I close Arma 3? I can take a screen grab of my task manager if that would help. EDIT: Oh! The issue actually "stops" after I open up task manager.
