FallenPaladin 0 Posted October 30, 2002 I don`t know if that problem has been fixed in 1.85... I played the Resistance campaign in veteran mode with super ai turned on. In a few of the last missions, especially where I had to conquer the capital city and the other search and destroy missions, I had problems to finish the mission, because I failed to kill the last ai soldier. My idea is that the ai retreated from their defending position (no joke!!! ) , because I had to search a large part of the map until I found and killed the last ai soldier. This new "search and destroy mission" in the mission took me over an hour! I had problems like this in a few missions, did anyone of you encounter something like that, too? If yes, it could be solved easily, by simply changing the mission ending settings. BIS, what do you think?

One hour long mission is nothing compared to 3-4 hours it takes me on those big assaults. I scout everything out, place my Snipers, Machine Gunners and such in all elevated positions, etc. Usually end up with very few casualties. As far as your runaway Ruskie, hey it happens. Everytime you replay a mission something different, unforseen takes place. I've gotten used to it.
FallenPaladin 0 Posted October 30, 2002 But it sucks if you have lost noone in such a long mission, conquered a whole city and the mission ending screen doesn`t appear. And when you start searching the map for the last fleeing enemies, you loose someone to them, because you ordered your troops by map`n` commands to spare some time
