I want to find a millitary base near an airport to make a rescue mission. PlaneShifter 0 Posted December 14, 2001 AFAIK, there are only two airfields--one in Malden, one on Everon. Might be one on Kolgujev too, I never checked. They are all near the top of the islands--just look for a large area with no contour lines on the map (ie. an area that is perfectly flat). - PlaneShifter - Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

zovirl 0 Posted December 19, 2001 Several people (myself included) over at www.ofpeditingcenter.com are currently working on updating the special locations guide to include (hopefully) all of the interesting features on every island. Bases, towns, buildings, islands, everything... Not sure when it will be done, but it looks like that is what you are looking for...
