duda123 1341 Posted March 10, 2016 Every time I try to start the publisher, the GUI is grayed out and has an error saying "update for scenarios is disabled" in the center of the GUI. I can't figure out how to get past this error - the entire application seems to be locked up. This started 2 days ago. Was working fine before that. Any ideas? It doesn't want you using it right now because new UGC technology is being implemented with it, and they want you to update scenarios from ingame. wtf is UGC you might ask, the googles know the answer: User-generated content (UGC) is defined as "any form of content such as blogs, wikis, discussion forums, posts, chats, tweets, podcasts, digital images, video, audio files, advertisements and other forms of media that was created by users of an online system or service, often made available via social media websites". I can open publisher on my machine just fine with no messages or issues for addons, It'll only flag it if its a scenario. By the looks of it you don't have any previously posted items which could be why its doing that. You don't even have the default 'Unpublished Item' either. verify your files because something is wrong with the program. It also doesn't hang when it pops up that message. [40-1] Shadow 3 Posted May 9, 2016 I am also haveing this problem I tried deleting C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Bohemia_Interactive but it does not fix the problem The publisher worked fine the first time i ran it and i successfully uploaded a mod but then i noticed an error so i deleted it and tried to upload it again and now it just hangs on launch also if i restart steam it downloads the deleted workshop item that should not exist anymore as i deleted it and unsubbed (it does not show anywhere on my account) it's driving me crazy as i have other mods i need to upload Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
