hcpookie 3770 Posted April 26, 2016 I'll not be adding any custom textures in any form. Camo selections exist so any artist can add their own, however. Besides it makes no sense to me to add something that has no faction in-game. Taking a break from house work and unpacking moving boxes. Flying around w/ other aircraft, it seems the dim HUD lines are normal. I thought there was an action-based way to adjust that brightness, but darned if I can find any info. I plan to release these today in limited fashion w/ the CUP A-A and A-G ordnance as a limited test version. Needs some polishing of different bits, but overall seems to be working "enough" to fly around in-game. Of course I'll be making them in the CUP factions because "Arma 2". I won't be releasing MLOD's for these like I did w/ my EF-2000 however. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
hcpookie 3770 Posted May 3, 2016 Progress report - I wanted to make these a Mayday release but had too much to fix for that to happen. I've been fixing little model issues, shadow bugs, etc. Since the missilebox isn't ready yet the weapon loadouts are extremely limited. Currently the Su-27 has an A-A loadout only (since it is an air superiority fighter). Su-30 versions have two A-G loadouts w/ FAB bombs and Kh-29 AGM's. VERY basic, with no dual- or triple-rack loadouts. This is very much like the RL loadouts we all see on the planes flying over Syria right now so I'm OK with that. I just wish more A-G weapons were available at present. "Later this summer" I guess we'll get the rest... Fixing up the pilot and gunner views. The new pilot models meant re-positioning to "center" everything in the pilot view. The new things like moving joystick etc. is being added as I get to them. I'm still working on the MFD TV views like I have on the EF-2000. Also damage indicators in the cockpit, etc. Some of the features may be pushed back. Adding ELS (Emitter Locating System) scripts for correct SEAD aircraft, which can then make use of my SAM pack ARM weapon capabilities. Since the current version of my SAM pack has no Soviet anti-radiation weapons this is a feature to be used for the future. I need to update my SAM pack anyway... perhaps I'll add a Soviet ARM missile to it :) Here's the Su-30 w/ the A-G "Precision" loadout and the Su-30M with the A-G "Bomb" loadout: Future: Investigating use of the Sapsan-E laser targeting pod for LGB and other precision A-G loadouts. The pod takes a weapon pylon but adding this would correctly simulate LGB targeting capabilities Investigating an ECM concept that will correctly employ the Sorbtsiya ECM pods. Currently they are permanently attached to the wingtip pylons, effectively limiting the use of an expanded A-A loadout, since when mounted they prevent the wingtip pylons from being loaded with A-A missiles. ECM pods would become an optional item to enable/disable ECM scripting solutions. The current "simplistic" approach is "always" mounted and a harder to target aircraft. Having a non-ECM enabled fighter would provide interesting alternatives. Investigating addition of the "President-S" towed decoy, similar to that on the EF-2000. Very little information currently exists on the system, since it is so new. In theory it can provide defenses the same as the TRD on my EF-2000. The best information I have indicates it is primarily for use against MANPAD's, and "other high-energy missile systems". So the jury is still out on whether this will be analogous to the Western towed decoys. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
hcpookie 3770 Posted May 6, 2016 Damage warning, master caution, wreck model, fire geo, etc. all working correctly. Note to self - don't fly straight and level into my ZSU AAA site... NOT pretty... LOL I finally found a video online showing the "pullup" indicator, which is a big "X" just like in the EF2000, so all that "pullup" stuff I put in the EF2000 will be added to the Flankers. The -30 and -27 models are different enough that once it gets working on one plane, it is a real chore placing all the new things on the other aircraft. *frustration* Release is imminent... a few days at most... this will be "version 0.9" because the full weapon loadout isn't ready yet. Also needs to be beat up in MP to ensure it works like I think it works. Also putting together a small PDF describing all the little things. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

wolfgarth 74 Posted May 10, 2016 I really enjoyed the new aircraft, however has some details that I would like to inofrmar: - The TV and radar su-27 do not work - Inside the cockpit of the not see the wing texture - All aircraft are escurregando when they are taxiing - It has good acceleration, they are very slow - The afterburner does not work And it would be nice to have a loadout menu Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
