{HoD}Ferocious 0 Posted October 22, 2002 Well its been almost a full 7months since i have been working on my campaign and I'm finally on the last stretch! Many were done-but none captured the real event. Some were just movies but no fighting. Some were fiighting but had no resemblence to the actual thing. I decided to really sit down and take the time to do it right. I spent a full month just testing my city making sure no serious amounts of lag occured. "Aight Grizz great but what are u talking about?" Black Hawk Down. The campaign takes place on ZWA's Desert Everon. Not including the Island it requires three addons. -Ranger Units{don't have name on hand...will there with release} -Somalia units -Gunslingers Addon. I had to use Gunny's object cause the destroyed building are a few of the only things u can't create in the mission .sqm It is a total of 6missions with a possible Prelude mission for the fun of it. Mission1: Intro movie, Raid, Chopper crash Mission2: Securing crash site, help a lost humV Mission3: 2nd chopper crash{short movie} Mission4: Intro movie, Go back to the city with backup. Mission5: Intro movie, Hold crash site till rescue convoy arrives Mission6: Ending{Short film}. I'm keeping it brief...gotta leave some surprises. I have plenty of screenshots but i don't know how to post. I have also wanted to get some publicity from some website owners but i'm not very known amongst the OFP community even though i have been playing since Sept. 2001.{hehe 1.2 mutiplayers days....geez remember?} My beta testers have asked me to put in the MH-6 Little Bird but as it stands right now i dont' have Resistance nor do i have the specs to run it. I may add it in later in a revised version but for the amount of time that it would be in the missions another addon is not all that worth it. I made way by using the OH-68-it makes a rescue attempt for the downed crew member at crash site 1{if u recall the movie or the actual event...no shit boys i really stuck to everything}, in which case i just removed the gunner. {HoD}Ferocious 0 Posted October 22, 2002 Well for the moment I'm on a temp internet coonection {56k} But within the next month or so I'll have my cable up and runnin' again. The mission is fun though-The hardest part was making it seem like your are always surrounded but only enough enemies so u can actually win the mission.
