Bnae 1431 Posted December 24, 2015 Hey, problem is that i cannot install Mikero's DePbo, DeRap or DeOgg. I can download them but when i try to install them it just keeps showing the hourglass next to cursor. I even have to restart my whole computer because i cannot end the tasks from Task Manager. I have Unblocked them, i'm running as administrator. I have downloaded all the files with Mozilla and with Chrome, no help. I tried the Community tools Updater also, no help. It just keeps failing also. ExtractPbo is the only one i can install. Is this all because i need to buy them or what? I did extract all the files manually one by one but now there is some texture missing problems. It would be great that i could use these tools, that are made for this job. badluckburt 78 Posted December 24, 2015 It's not because you need to buy them, quite sure of that. What Windows are you on? Can I take a wild guess and say it's 10? ;) Could be that you miss a certain version of Windows Installer. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Bnae 1431 Posted December 24, 2015 I'm using Windows 7 64bit. And i tried updating few suggested things but they didnt help. Matter of fact i tried older version of these Installers with Community Tools updater and i managed to install them without any problems. Bnae 1431 Posted January 3, 2016 are you installing as administrator? Yes i am. Now after few weeks i'm starting think the problem is some VSU3\vcredist_x86.exe thing. I just remembered one other thing, right-click the .exe install files, go to Properties and make sure they're not 'blocked'. Windows sometimes does that to downloaded files and it prevents them from executing properly. Yes i have unblocked them. And i have microsoft.dll and still having the same issue.
