Some help please

Well, I need someway to prevent a weapon from firing by script.

ps: I'm not asking for the script just a function or something alike to prevent the firing cycle.

And someway to delay the firing cycle, for now, only this is needed.

What sort of weapon? Player? AI?

Could you specify a bit what you mean by "firing by script"?

 

There are AI units aiming and fireing at enemies, because their AI tells them to. And there are some scripting command which force the unit to shoot its weapon (fire, doFire, fireAtTarget), which scripters can use in their scripts to make units fire at things they usually wouldn't.

 

Or do you mean something different?
