soapboxsubmarine 11 Posted June 8, 2015 Like in the title when i make changes to the terrain and save, next time i start up bulldozer it goes back to the state the terrain was in before the changes were made Any ideas?
badluckburt 78 Posted June 8, 2015 I assume by 'save' you mean saving in TB but you probably need to export to .WRP first from Bulldozer or you need to rebuild the heightmap in the Samplers-window (where you generate layers). I've never used the Bulldozer brush though so the above might be a load of bull :)
soapboxsubmarine 11 Posted June 8, 2015 yes when i save in TB. whenever i used brush in buldoser before, it saves the changes made there whenever i save in TB. Just not now. Havent changed any settings.
soapboxsubmarine 11 Posted June 9, 2015 aargh! I tried to rebuild the terrain, and now every change i did to the map is gone. So strange that it saved the state of the heightfield whenever i used the brush before, and suddenly it wont. If any bohemia wiz'es are arround i would appreciate all and any help. xnam 17 Posted June 9, 2015 when you copy and object in Buldozer, does it appear in realtime in TB (before closing TB?) is it still here when you save/open again your TB project ? did you do the arma3tools /arma update since yesterday ?
soapboxsubmarine 11 Posted June 9, 2015 Yes, objects remains i guess its updated since auto update in steam is enabled another thing which has happened is that i cannot delete objects with delete in TB or change the road layer after i have placed the polyline
xnam 17 Posted June 10, 2015 it's the same shit every update, don't spend your days trying to fix BIS errors......copy your project, and uninstall A3tools, clean your registry , install A3tools again. decompress A3 with arma3P. Enjoy , everything should works now...!!!
Richie 330 Posted June 10, 2015 When i changed the height in BD i would export the heightfield, import that in L3DT and then export it before finally importing back in TB. I know it's a long way round but it does work :)
soapboxsubmarine 11 Posted June 10, 2015 yes in the end i reinstalled everything. But now i cannot even open buldozer. I get this error: "Cannot open object a3/data_f/tetrahedron.p3d i tried to search up the file, it doesnt exist... I thought about doing Richies approach, although it shouldnt be necessary, its overly cumbersome just for this process. Cannot use boldozer anyway so i just have to wait until BIS fixes it.. thnks for the suggestions
soapboxsubmarine 11 Posted June 10, 2015 ok, so the solution was Xnams, thnks btw. I used Ccleaner and reinstalled everything and now all good.
