Welcome to the Flying Monkeys In Space ArmA 3 page. FMIS for short. Funny name but loads of serious fun. The name comes from social commentary on the human race.

Who Are We?

We are a small but growing group of like minded mostly Australian Arma players who gather a few nights a week and play some really immersive tactical ArmA 3 missions.

Our end goal is to make the most immersive and exciting gaming experience possible for our members without all the Milsim 'Yes Sir' 'No Sir' BS.

Our group is growing with some very dedicated, smart, entertaining and mature members. Our game typically consist of about 6-10 players when we do Custom Operations missions and our server fills right up when we run more light hearted fun missions like Battle Royale, ArmAGeddon or Escape.

We don't have an extensive 'bootcamp' you have to go through. We don't make you jump through hoops or fill out forms to join. Just jump on teamspeak and lets go.

What Do We Do?

Most nights we play custom Zeus / MCC missions, with myself or one of the other squad members acting as Game Master (and usually as HQ) in a variety of dynamic and exciting missions. Think of it like Dungeons and Dragons only ArmA.

Quite often the missions will be part of a much wider and grander campaign. Where the mission outcome will affect the next mission. Don't capture the officer and instead kill him? Well that will have consequences in the next mission.

Although we don't have a bootcamp we do offer Wednesday nights as a 'Training' for new and experienced players alike where we can teach you everything from how the mods work, to how to build and Zeus your own missions.

The group is semi role play, no ranks or authoritative crap. Every member new or old is treated equal and the voices are not only heard but encouraged. You can play whatever role like on any given night from Squad Leader, Medic, AT, Heli Piolet, Sniper or even Jet Pilot. This of course depends on the mission. We do however request the players respect their chosen role and the role of other players during the mission.

Of course you don't need to be Australian, we also have members from New Zealand and the Philippines.

We don't have a age limit or gap, but do consider that most members are over the age of 18 so we ask no matter who joins they be mature, patient, willing the learn and join in.

We are happy to enroll novice and experienced players alike.

What Else Do You Do?

One other thing we do is we often have Joint Co-Op missions with other clans. Currently FMIS has close ties to two other major Australian clans and we regularly jump in Large Scale missions (30+ player Co-Op and PVP wars). So really with this group you are getting the best of both worlds - small / medium tactical ops and large scale all out warfare.

What is required:

TeamSpeak and working microphone:

You are required to have a current version of TeamSpeak and working microphone.

Obviously a proper PC headset is preferred but if you have a mic on a lap top or webcam that will do the job temporally.

Mods:

Don't worry we have a PlayWithSix collection, tutorial videos and plenty of moderators which all will make for easy one click download and install.

I can assure you even though our mod list is extensive we make it easy to download, install, update and run the mods.
