New beta nvidia driver problem

Nvidia released a new (beta) detonator driver on 3/10/02

I run xp prof, with a gf4 ti graffics card

The new driver works fine for ofp

BUT at the very first screen of RES, it is the dreaded green screen. Tried all sorts of permutations, but the green screen persists, so I can't even start the game.

Guess its back to the previous nvidia driver for now

FWIW, I've been using the V40.72 drivers for two days without any problems. Great driver, too -- fast and stable.
