Athnex 0 Posted October 5, 2002 When I Gamespy started operation flashpoint it starts up fine. Then it says Athnex is connecting. But it never connects fully.. It just sits there saying Waiting for Server and never finishes.. Usualy after  3 or 4 minutes of wating I get a "Session Lost" It is real annoying it use to work before now it dosnt. I have re-installed the game twice and it works fine with a friend, but when its more then 4 people it dosnt seem to work correctly. So far he has been the only person it works on, no one else. I have DSL through LAN, it worked before but it all of a sudden stoped. I have no clue why it would of stoped working. If anyone can help me I will be very thankful. Mister Frag 0 Posted October 5, 2002 Usually the problem with a setup like yours is with the NAT/PAT setup. If you have ICS or ICF turned on, it will cause problems as well. A list of the ports that must be opened/forwarded to your system can be found in AvonLady's Unofficial OFP FAQ by searching for "firewall".
Athnex 0 Posted October 7, 2002 My firewall allows all ports and connections through operationflashpoint.exe and gamespy, it worked fine, then it just stoped working. I have no clue why and its real frustrating, the ICF is off, and there is no connection shareing through xp, the modem runs straight to the router, and the router to my computer and the rest. Guest BratZ Posted October 7, 2002 Ya what Frag said, and do you realize that a router is also a firewall
