wantafanta 13 Posted March 20, 2015 (edited) so after a few weeks of playing around with both the development branch version and the stable version of terrain builder it has come to my attention that there are tools inside terrain builder that are not included in the arma tools install, one of them being the map config editor witch crashes terrain builder if used... im also having issues getting the clutter thumbnails to build and before i waste any more time looking into fixing the issue i wanted to make sure its not just me having the problem.... also, why is it that the road object icon is greyed out? im starting to think that these features were never meant to be included in terrain builder and were stripped from visitor 4 but for some reason left in the TB user interface. it would be nice to get some clarification from the dev's as to these issues since IMO terrain builder needs some love.. and i think it should get a bit of a priority in the tools development since it needs it them most, even if it is just updates to increase performance and to stop the random freezes that lock up windows completely for me (it happened on both windows 8.1 and windows 10 tech preview, not sure if anyone on windows 7 has this issue but its really odd how it will lock up windows even when its not performing any operations or imports... i would have put this thread in the bugs forum but when it comes to the thumbnails for clutter and internal MCE i have a strong feeling these tools were either left out of the public release of TB and only inside the UI because Bohemia didnt even bother removing them from the branch of visitor 4 that TB is based on... no documentation anywhere covers these issues so if someone could atleast update the wiki for TB it would be appreciated by all of us who repeatedly have to spend hours to figure out the solution to issues that are probably not that hard to deal with if there was proper documentation available Edited March 20, 2015 by wantafanta Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
