syco 0 Posted October 2, 2002 I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem... When I double click on the OFP icon in desktop, the startup goes through the regular four startup screens (CodeMasters, Bohemia Interactive, OFP and another screen), then it just kicks back to my desktop screen. Once I do it again (double click the OFP icon) then it starts up properly. Whats up?! Also, there are times when I'm in mission editor doing my hing and CLICK!!! the game kicks me off and makes the computer reboot! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mister Frag 0 Posted October 3, 2002 The first issue sounds like a problem with the input focus -- another program (possibly the Windows Desktop) gets the focus, causing OFP to get minimized. Try adding the -nosplash switch to the command-line for the shortcut, and try Alt-Tabbing to OFP if you are taken back to the Desktop after double-clicking the shortcut. ZizleyBEar 0 Posted October 3, 2002 Yea i had the same problem!!! i defraged my hd added some more ram and a new video card and it works great now! i dunno what coused that problem but It may have been too many addon, some screwed up addon or some spywear  Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
The Gladiator 0 Posted October 4, 2002 Sometimes when i push the play button the game starts but you cant see the codemaster bis ofp thing and when you are in the menu the only things you notice is the texture on the island and the music.
